During the first lockdown we were supporting our users and the wider community by providing care packages.
These care packages were filled with essential household food items and toiletries. We were able to support many families experiencing hardship due to the lockdown. far we have distributed over 150 care packages to our regular users and others in need in the community. We also have supplied food packages and much needed toiletries to 'Queensbridge Primary School, non-perishable food donations to 'The Wickers Charity' and provided 'Children With Voice's' toiletries to make up their young peoples 'care for yourself' packs.
We have been very fortunate to have received donations from members of the public. These donations have enabled The Charlie Burns Foundation to provide this essential support so far, but we are in need of further donations to support those who are reliant on the weekly care packages we provide.

Postcode Parents Adapted Delivery
In the midst of the current pandemic and government guidelines to stay at home out support group had to cease. Due to the experiences some of our users are prone to self isolation. Postcode Parents support group and outreach encourage these users to engage in social settings. Being in lockdown and told to stay at home, forced these users to self-isolate themselves and we fear of the psychological impact of them no longer having this regular social interaction and support.
We are continuing to support our users by checking in with telephone calls.
Postcode Parents support group has unfortunately had to be paused but we will be back soon. Keep an eye on our website and social media for further information.
